No playoffs for Turner Valley's Jacob Libbus and the rest of the Desmond Young rink out of Edmonton at the Canadian National Junior Curling Championships in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

They beat Quebec 9-5 in the morning draw, Friday, January 25, to finish at 5-and-5, but it wasn't enough to get into the weekend playoffs.

However, Selena Sturmay, also out of the Saville Centre in Edmonton, finished at 10-and-0 with a 9-4 win over Saskatchewan to punch Alberta's ticket to the women's finals Sunday, January 27.
