July 30th 2016, my Mother and I marked something off the Bucket List...

I bought tickets to my mom's favorite band, Alabama! Soon as I found out that the band was performing close to home in Medicine Hat, I knew that would be the perfect opportunity to go. We traveled down on Saturday, ready for a fantastic show. Once we arrived at the Medicine Hat Stampede, we indulged in food that was probably not the most healthiest, but that was worth it.

Just before the show was about to began, announcers told the crowd that the last time Alabama was at Medicine Hat, (which was 20 years ago down to the exact date), they sold out the entire grandstand. Currently the grandstand hasn't sold out since that time. But when they came back this weekend, the grandstand was sold out, first time in 20 years. Pretty cool!

The performance my the legendary band was great. They couldn't play all their #1 singles, (Which is over 40) but they played all the crowds favorite songs including, I'm in a Hurry, Roll On, Dixieland Delight, Mountain Music, and plenty more..

This is what my mom said about the show..

"I grew up listening to them (Alabama), they are my all time favorite band. I am so happy I got to go and sing along to all my favorite songs. This was also my first outdoor concert I have attended and first time I have been to the Medicine Hat Stampede.  This was on my bucket list of things to do! Dream come true!"
