Some local smoke did not hinder the fun to be had at the High River Farmer's Market!

Sandy Pinto saw success with her home-baked bread and fresh dips! She had some samples of her homemade dips out, and had a secret container of her special guacamole hidden behind the bread, just so she still had some to sell before people ate it all! She's been selling her goodies for over 28 years, and this was her fourth season at the High River Farmer's Market.

From bread to cherries, this market had it all! Brigette Rye was selling fresh fruit right from British Columbia, and was happy to see all of the people coming up to talk! She owns The Lazy Cherry, and gets all of her fruit from an orchard in British Columbia, but sells it locally to members in her community!

The perogies from Ukrainian Fine Foods were also a highlight! They were handing out some sausage samples, and putting smiles on the faces of many!

The Farmer's Market will be held again next Thursday, August 23.
