A Dangerous Offender has been released in Calgary.

Norman Robert Brown was released Thursday March 16 after serving two-years for sexual assault.

Brown has six previous convictions for sexual assault including a conviction of sexual interference of a minor.

He's also under the order of a 10-year long term supervision order.

The 57-year-old's convictions range from 1990 to 2021 with the majority of his crimes being committed upon vulnerable women, including women with disabilities within the Calgary area.

Correctional Service Canada and the Calgary Police Service will be closely monitoring him through the High Risk Offender Program.
