Being the spokesperson for 100 Women Who Care Foothills is so awesome!

I get to hang with some of the biggest hearts in our communities AND I get to pop in and hand out big cheques to local charities.

Karen Love (100 Women Who Care Foothills), Orvella Small (Executive Director) and Kathy Thornhill (President) Foothills Special Needs Assocation for Parents and Siblings and Jody Seeley

Hearing how these funds is going to cover short falls in costs for programs for our local families is very heart-warming.  Executive Director Orvella Small will attend the next meeting for 100 Women Who Care Foothills to share where the money goes...but she says she already knows a couple of the programs which started out as pilots will get to continue.

Karen Love who started the group says to date the funds raised to impact the community is $22,900.  Which she says is more than she thought would happen in the first year.

All ladies are invited to join us on Thursday May 4, 2017 at 7:00pm at Crystal Ridge Golf Course in Okotoks.
