Job seekers might want to look outside the box and think about a future in the agriculture industry.

Ag for Life has launched their "ThinkAg Careers" program, and Kayley Segboer with Ag for Life says working in agriculture doesn't necessarily mean sitting in a combine.

"And that's the big part of "ThinkAg" is really breaking down some of those stereotypes when we think of farming and agriculture jobs."

She says there are jobs in crop science, genetics, crop advisors and even business and accounting.

She says they hosted hundreds of students this month at both Agri-Trade in Red Deer and Farmfair International in Edmonton, with industry leaders to show off some of the post secondary options in the Ag industry for students.
