The public will have a rare opportunity to tour the OH Ranch west of Longview, AB.

Saturday, August 18, the Calgary Stampede is opening up the ranch gates as part of Alberta Open Farm Days.

People will be able to explore the 8,000 acre ranch with ranch tours, history tours, and livestock viewings.

Some highlights will be learning about sustainable ranching practices and a look at the North West Mounted Police cabin and cookhouse.

The over 130 year-old working cattle ranch was gifted to the Calgary Stampede by Bill Siebens in 2012.
