Agrium and PotashCorp are delaying their merger until the end of the year. The new company, Nutrien, will be worth an estimated $36 billion.

The large scale of the merger has both India and China asking PotashCorp to sell off some of it's investments.

The countries will condition their approvals of the merger to PotashCorp selling certain offshore minority ownership interests.

When merged, Nutrien will be the largest global provider of crop inputs and services.
