Women in agriculture will be taking centre stage in Athabasca County later this week.
They're celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Farm Women's Conference on Thursday, February 7.
Farm Coach, Professional Speaker and Author, Elaine Froese, is from Southern Manitoba and will be speaking at the conference about living an intentional life. 
"It's really about intentionally choosing everyday what gives you energy, how to manage your energy, and managing the different roles we take on as farm women," Froese says.
Froese says supporting women in agriculture isn't about being gender bias, it's about recognizing all team members who provide strength and energy to the farm business.
People not wanting to make the trek up to Northern Alberta for the conference can watch Froese's presentation on YouTube from their comfort of their home.
