Federal Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau has confirmed a third Canadian canola exporter has received a non-compliance notice from China over quality issues.

Bibeau's office says the non-compliance notice was issued back in January to the unnamed company.

Richardson International and Viterra also received notices at that time.

The third company has not been suspended from exporting to China, as were Richardson International and Viterra, but they are keeping an eye on the situation.

The ag minister has sent a letter to China asking for a Canadian delegation to be sent to the country to discuss the issue.
