The Alberta Beef Producer's plebiscite has been extended.

Tuesday, November 13 was the original deadline to vote on whether the check-off dollars will remain refundable, or change to non-refundable.

Now cattle producers in the province have until Tuesday, November 27.

Alberta Beef Producers says, the Alberta Agricultural Products Marketing Council extended the vote because of the delayed harvest and Canada Post strike during the plebiscite.

Cattle producers can vote in the plebiscite by mail, or at their local AFSC office.
